Go to the Arctic Research Centre's website and click on 'Synop Data'. From there, followe the 'Synop observations/AWS' link to surface meteorological observations dating from October, 2006. 'Maws data' includes snow depth observations from 2007-2009 and 'SMS data' to 'SMS Aws' has further automatic weather station measurements from 2007-2009. Historical synoptic observations can be acquired by e-mailing a data request to Pauli.Heikkinen@fmi.fi.

Data is available by ftp access through the World Radiation Monitoring Center - BSRN (WRMC-BSRN). To gain access to the ftp server, an e-mail request must be sent to Gert Konig-Langlo (Gert.Koenig-Langlo@awi.de) describing the research project for which data will be used. The data release guidelines from the WRMC-BSRN must be followed by those who download data. Observations are available for varying dates depending upon the station of interest.
