We have obtained surface data files for nine of the IASOA observatories from the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC). Documentation for these data files are available from the UCAR CISL Research Data Archive.
This data set is distributed through IASOA under WMO
resolution 40.
Variables in the files Include:
- Surface Pressure
- Sea Level Pressure
- Temperature
- Dew point Temperature
Click on the name of the IASOA observatory to download data for that observatory.
Note: If there is more than one column of links to files, that means there
is more than one observation location at a given site.

File Information:
If there is more than one column of data, that means there is more than
one observation location at this site. Files are compressed in bzip2
format. 7-zip or gnu bzip2 should
uncompress the text files. We recommend using wget (unix and windows) to download multiple files.
Meta data information is contained in the Readme file.
